Liverpool 2-1 to finish the campaign unbeaten
Premier League leaders Liverpool will be looking to extend their unbeaten run this weekend when they travel to Upton Park to take on West Ham and bookmaker Coral go 2-1 that they remain unbeaten for the remainder of the season. The Reds are 2-5 with Coral to come away from London with all three points and 1-14 to remain top of the table after the latest round of fixtures.
Liverpool are bidding for their first league title since the 1989/90, and with just six games to go, their fate is in their own hands. Following their 4-0 victory over Tottenham last Sunday, Liverpool were cut into 13-8 with Coral to win the Premier League title, but Manchester City remain the 5-6 favourites.
“With Liverpool’s title hopes stronger than ever before, the tables are starting to turn and punters are now putting their money on the Reds winning the title for the first time. It’s not often that Liverpool would be as short as 2-5 away from home, but given their firing form, we can’t see anything but a straight-forward victory,” said Coral’s John Hill.
There will be pressure on a number of Premier League managers once again this weekend to avoid the sack. Coral offer 4-1 for any manager to leave their post before the end of Monday evening. Tim Sherwood may need a positive result when Tottenham entertain Sunderland to keep his job. The Spurs boss is 5-2 to be sacked before the last game of the 2013/14 season.
