Melvin Odoom odds-on to be eliminated from Strictly

Melvin Odoom is the odds-on favourite at 1-2 with leading bookmaker Coral to be eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing this weekend following this evening’s show. The radio DJ tops the betting to be the first contestant to go ahead of Ed Balls who has eased out to 5-2 (from 1-2) to leave after his performance tonight.

In the outright betting for the series, Danny Mac has been cut into 11-4 (from 3-1) to win the show and Louise Redknapp is 7-2 to lift the Glitterball trophy.

“The betting suggests Melvin Odoom could be the unfortunate first contestant to leave this year’s series as he is odds-on to depart this weekend,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“The gamble behind Danny Mac winning the show is showing no sign of stopping as his odds have been slashed once again after another impressive performance,” added Hill.
