Minding heads betting for vintage Irish Champion Stakes

Minding is the 5-2 favourite with Coral for Saturday’s QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes, ahead of the dual-Derby winner Harzand at 3-1, following the final declarations for the Leopardstown Group One.  French Derby winner Almanzor is next at 11-2, ahead of Found and New Bay, both 8-1.

“The line-up for this year’s QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes is nothing short of sensational, and while the Epsom Classic winners Minding and Harzand head the betting, the quality of the field is highlighted by the Coral-Eclipse winner Hawkbill being priced at 16-1, and the Prince Of Wales’s victor My Dream Boat taking his place as a 33-1 outsider,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
