Seahawks backed to defend Super Bowl

Seattle Seahawks are 11-2 with Coral to become the first back-to-back Super Bowl winners since 2005 ahead of the new NFL campaign which begins tomorrow. Last season’s runners-up Denver Broncos are second best in the betting to go one better at 6-1, while New England Patriots are 8-1 with the firm.

“The history books tell you that Super Bowl winners have a really poor record when it comes to defending their crown but it has not put punters off backing the Seahawks to come out on top in Arizona in February,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“Some people have been taking them on though. New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers are two of our of biggest losers going into the regular season as they have both been nibbled in the Super Bowl betting,” added Hill.
