Suarez evens to break the Premier League goal scoring record

Following his brace against Cardiff on Saturday, Luis Suarez is evens with Coral to break the Premier League’s all-time goal scoring record held by Alan Shearer and Cristiano Ronaldo, of 31 goals in a 38 game season. The Uruguayan has now scored 19 goals in 12 league matches this season and is only the third player in the history of the Premier League to score 19 goals before Christmas.

“Luis Suarez is scoring goals for fun at the minute so with 21 league games of the season still to play, Suarez looks set to put his name in the history books and set a new Premier League goalscoring record,” said Coral’s Tim Reynolds.
