The Super Bowl is famed for drama, fans love a fairy-tale ending, something that wouldn’t look out of place in Hollywood and, with that in mind, we investigate the chances of Atlanta Falcons going all the way and winning the Vince Lombardi trophy for the first time.
Attack is the best form of defence
The Falcons have blazed a trail of glory to the final-four, where they met the Green Bay Packers and stormed to 44-21 victory, and that success has been achieved on the back of a fearless offence.
Head coach Dan Quinn has helped construct his side around entertainment. Points win prizes, and they have been involved in some fascinating fixtures so far in this NFL campaign. That do-or-die approach has made them a favourite of the neutrals.
Seattle Seahawks were beaten into submission in the NFC divisional play-offs thanks to a 36-20 score, and they have also racked up some big numbers against the likes of Los Angeles Rams, 42-14, and San Francisco 49ers, 41-13.
Punters who believe they can continue that trend and get the better of The Packers can back them -5.5 points on the spread at 10/11 with Coral. Click here to do that now!
Ryan to make things happen
Much of their success can be accredited to quarterback Matt Ryan, who has led the way in a number of passing categories so far and seems to be moving up a gear at exactly the right time to strengthen his side’s cause, and etch his name into the history books.
The Falcons will, no doubt, look to lure Green Bay, and their suspect defence, into a straight shoot-out on Sunday and, if Packers are brave and meet fire with fire, you’d want few better men in your corner than Matt Ryan. Judging by his recent form, and with confidence sky-high, it’s difficult to ignore the 8/1 about him scoring anytime.
Back to the Super Bowl outright market and believers who are behind Atlanta Falcons to make history and win their first title in 2017 will find Coral traders giving out a tempting 5/2. If you are planning on supporting Falcons, be sure to get on quickly, as that price won’t hang around much longer.
