The World Cup Final is within reach for England and the Coral traders make the Three Lions odds-on to contest Sunday’s Moscow showpiece.
“Croatia will certainly be a tough game but Gareth Southgate’s England are flying and with the Croatians having to come through two periods of extra-time already we think the odds are slightly in England’s favour,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
In the other semi-final, France are odds-on to progress past Belgium at 8/11. Roberto Martinez’s Red Devils are an even-money play to make the final. Les Bleus remain the overall shortest price to win the entire tournament at 2/1, ahead of England (5/2), Belgium (11/4) and Croatia (4/1).
“Should England go on to win the World Cup it would spark one of the biggest pay outs in history for us, with thousands of patriotic punters having an extra reason to cheer on the Three Lions as history beckons,” said Coral’s Harry Aitkenhead.
Meanwhile Harry Kane is now as short as 1/8 to be top goalscorer as he sits two goals clear of the chasing pack, which includes Romelu Lukaku at 9/1.
“The Golden Boot almost looks sewn up for Kane now, barring Romelu Lukaku finding the net a few times for Belgium, and England fans will be hoping it’s not the only trophy he collects,” added Aitkenhead.
