World Cup Betting Tips & Latest News

Coral are bringing you all the latest World Cup betting odds. From the tournament winner, to top goalscorers and top world cup previews– it’s all here!

World Cup is the first to be hosted by Russia. And this summer’s tournament also sees two new entrants, in the form of Iceland and Panama. The tournament begins on 14th June 2018 as Russia face Saudi Arabia. And it comes to a dramatic close with the World Cup Final on 15th July.

As with the last five tournaments, 32 teams will be competing for glory across eight groups. The 16 sides who progress face the nerve-racking prospect of knockout ties.

Current holders Germany are many people’s favourites for glory. Boss Joachim Low is looking to lead Die Mannschaft to their fifth World Cup triumph, following maximum points in qualification.

England are the only Home Nations side to make it to Russia. (and are 14/1 to win the World Cup this year.)

The Three Lions will be keen to improve on a poor showing in 2014. Gareth Southgate’s men are in a group with Panama, Belgium and Tunisia.

The last non-European side to win a World Cup on the continent were Brazil in 1958. They’ll be looking to change that stat, as will two-time winners Argentina.

Whoever wins the tournament, fans in 11 host cities will have the chance to see some of the world’s top players – including Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and England’s Harry Kane.
