Odds and preview for this weekend’s NFL fixtures

Indianapolis Colts Nyheim Hines picked up 115 scrimmage yards and two touchdowns to lead his side past Tennessee Titans on Thursday Night Football.

The result tied the pair on a 6-3 record at the top of the AFC South halfway through the regular NFL season.

And we’ve got more action to come on Sunday with 12 matches, including a battle of the NFC East as the Eagles head to New York to take on the Giants.

Baltimore Ravens and New England Patriots are the late Sunday night game, and ahead of the action, we’ve picked and previewed our ties of week 10.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers @ Carolina Panthers (Sun 18:00)

Tom Brady NFL

With Tom Brady’s Buccaneers looking to put right a blowout 38-3 defeat to the Saints last weekend, they travel to the 3-6 Carolina Panthers, who are on a four-game losing streak.

All four of those games have been close run, losing by eight of fewer points in each of them, including against defending champions Kansas City Chiefs last weekend.

Tampa Bay come in as 2/5 favourites on the Money Line, with the Panthers 21/10 to snap their losing streak.

With that run of four close losses in mind, there’s 11/20 on +8.5 handicap for the Panthers, could they lose a fifth by eight or less?

The Bucs failed to score a touchdown against the Saints, but WR Mike Evans is 9/2 to score the first TD here, while you can find 6/5 on Tampa scoring over 3/5 touchdowns.

Panthers QB Teddy Bridgewater threw for two touchdowns against the Chiefs. He’s 50/1 to score another brace here.

Buffalo Bills @ Arizona Cardinals (Sun 21:05)

The Bills ditched their running game altogether last week in an impressive 44-34 win over Seattle, with Josh Allen throwing for 415 yards and three touchdowns.

Cardinals couldn’t quite hold on against the Miami Dolphins last weekend, giving up 10 fourth-quarter points as they went down 31-34.

Second year WB Kyler Murray continues to show off his arsenal though, with 11 carrying rushes for 106 yards, including a touchdown. He averaged just under 10 yards per carry too.

The Cardinals are 8/11 favourites on the Money Line, with Buffalo Bills 23/20 to improve to 8-2 on the season. Murray looks the favourite to score first, with 6/1 saying he picks up the first TD.

Stefon Diggs has racked up some impressive numbers so far this term, with 63 receptions, 813 yards and three touchdowns. He’s 13/10 to score anytime.

San Francisco 49ers @ New Orleans Saints (Sun 21:25)

Jimmy Garoppolo NFL

NFC South leaders New Orleans Saints flexed their experienced muscles to assert their authority against ‘new kids on the block’ Tampa Bay last weekend in a 38-3 blowout.

The 49ers haven’t found the form which led them to the Super Bowl last season yet, sitting fourth in the NFC West with a 4-5 record under Kyle Shanahan’s guidance.

On the Money Line, we’ve got 2/9 on the Saints flexing their muscles again, with 7/2 saying the 49ers could go .500 on the season with a 5-5 record.

In week 14 last season, 49ers edged past the Saints in a high-scoring affair. It ended 48-46 that night, and we go 5/2 for over 59.5 points again here, with 17/5 on Saints winning by six points or less.

Seattle Seahawks @ Los Angeles Rams (Sun 21:25)

LA Rams return from their bye week hosting Seahawks at SoFi Stadium, a week after Seattle’s defence appeared to take a week off too after conceding 44 to Buffalo.

No team has allowed as many passing yards as the Seahawks in the league, averaging just over 362 yards per game, which could play into Rams QB Jared Goff’s hands.

The Rams are 4/5 favourites on the Money Line, while Seattle, looking to prevent back-to-back losses for the first time this season, are 21/20.

Four of the last five matches between these two have been won by the Rams, with over 58 points scored between the sides in three of those matches. We’ve got 11/8 on over 58.5 points in the game here.

Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf have been on the end of most of Russell Wilson’s throws this season. You can find 17/20 and 87/100 on them scoring a touchdown anytime respectively.

Baltimore Ravens @ New England Patriots (Mon 01:20)

Cam Newton NFL

Bill Belichick’s Patriots needed a 13-point fourth-quarter comeback to ensure they didn’t become the first team to lose to the winless New York Jets this season.

The Ravens produced a stunning second half display against Indianapolis Colts to get back in the win column, scoring 17 points without reply to win 24-10.

Baltimore are 3/10 to bag another win on the Money Line, while the Patriots are 27/10 to win back to back games for the first time this season.

New England switched their approach last week, adopting short passes rather than going long. Cam Newton benefitted, going 27/35 on his throw, picking up 274 yards without throwing a touchdown.

Reigning MVP Lamar Jackson is 7/1 to enter the end zone first, while Newton is a 6/5 anytime scorer after his rushing brace last week.
