England 4-9 for Ashes glory as Kiwis are beaten two-nil

| 28.05.2013

England are 4-9 with Coral to win this summer’s Ashes series, after Alastair Cook’s side completed a two-nil series win against New Zealand today. The visiting Australians are 3-1 to regain the Ashes, with a drawn series 6-1.

“Despite the loss of play to rain, England completed a comfortable series win against New Zealand, and the Headingley victory was not as costly as it could have been, as there was plenty of support for the draw ahead of the final day’s play, following a weather forecast that predicted plenty of wet weather,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
