Bookies fear Prescott Cesarewitch hope after favourable draw
The Sir Mark Prescott-trained Pallasator is 8-1 (from 10-1) with Coral for Saturday’s Cesarewitch, after the 4-y-o was handed a favourable draw of stall 7 today. Domination and Tiger Cliff have both been eased to 8-1 (from 7-1) after they were given higher draws, while the well-backed Smoky Hill is the other co-favourite following the final declarations for the Newmarket marathon.
“The Cesarewitch may have eluded Sir Mark Prescott so far, but Pallasator will appreciate the rain that is forecast for Newmarket, and unlike Domination and Tiger Cliff, he has a more favourable draw, so it would no suprise to see him shorten further at the head of the betting,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
