Sam Bailey set to cost bookies over a million with an X Factor win

| 13.12.2013
CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Leading bookmaker Coral fear the worst this weekend, as former prison officer Sam Bailey will cost them a monster pay-out of over £1 million if she wins the X Factor. She is the clear 1-4 favourite to be crowned this year’s winner, but punters have been backing her from day one, when her odds were as big as 6-1.

“Sam Bailey will be one of the worst results we’ve ever seen in the history of the X Factor if she wins. Fans of the show have been backing her at all prices and if the odds are right, punters will land an early Christmas present on Sunday night,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

Meanwhile, Scottish sensation Nicholas McDonald is odds-on at 4-6 to finish second, while Luke Friend is 2-5 to finish third.
