Chelsea, Real Madrid, Man Utd and Dortmund make for marvellous acca
It’s another week of Champions League action and Coral are offering crazy value on home wins for Chelsea, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund in 90 minutes. Back them all to taste victory at 11/4.
The Blues battle Turkish giants Galatasaray and hold a slender away goals advantage in their last 16 first leg, while Real hold a commanding 6-1 lead against Bundesliga outfit Schalke.
Reigning Premier League champions United must try to overturn a 2-0 deficit against Greek Super League side Olympiakos and Dortmund are 4-2 up against Zenit St Petersburg.
Chelsea v Galatasaray
This is a fixture the Blues have never lost and they are odds-on at 2/5 to win at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are also 1/6 to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Fernando Torres scored the opener in the first leg, so back the Spaniard to do the same here 9/2. He is 6/5 for a goal anytime too. Jose Mourinho’s men will look to keep things tight, so take the 6/1 price on a 1-0 Blues victory.
Real Madrid v Schalke
Coral has already paid out on Madrid reaching the last eight, and they are heavily odds-on at 1/6 to win the second leg and add to their massive aggregate advantage. Ancelotti may be tempted to rest players with an El Clasico battle with bitter rivals Barcelona coming up after this, but that doesn’t mean Real will take it easy on Schalke.
A home win with both teams scoring looks a solid bet at 29/20. Cristiano Ronaldo is the Champions League’s leading marksman, so back him at 7/4 to net two or more here.
Man Utd v Olympiakos
The Red Devils have never lost to Greek opposition at Old Trafford. Olympiakos’ options are limited in attack and they are facing a David Moyes team that will be wounded after losing to bitter rivals Liverpool.
United are odds-on at 4/9 to win the second leg and 15/8 to qualify from the tie. Player-coach Ryan Giggs has always beaten Olympiakos when he has played against them, scoring three goals in four games. Back the veteran at 11/2 to score anytime.
Borussia Dortmund v Zenit St Petersburg
Jurgen Klopp’s Dortmund face a Zenit side that has changed coach, installing managerial novice Sergey Semak, since the first leg. Last season’s beaten finalists are odds-on both to win this home match at 1/3 and advance to the quarters at 1/50.
Robert Lewandowski bagged a brace for Dortmund in Russia, so take the 5/2 price on the prolific Pole scoring two or more again here.
