Back Burnley, Derby and Brighton in 5/1 Championship treble

| 20.04.2014

Fancy another Football League treble on Easter Monday? Coral has just the bet for you.

Back Burnley, Derby County and Brighton all to win respective home matches against Wigan Athletic, Barnsley and fellow strugglers Blackpool, and get enhanced odds of 5/1.

Burnley v Wigan Athletic
Sean Dyche’s Clarets boast the best defensive record in the Championship, and have conceded just 14 goals in 21 home outings. They are 7/5 favourites to beat a Wigan side that has only won one of its last three away games.

Burnley have a major carrot to defeat Uwe Rosler’s play-off hopefuls. Victory here will confirm their promotion back to the Premier League, no matter the result at Derby County.

The hosts have seen as many different scorers net their last five goals. Back the Clarets’ top scorer, and Championship Player of the Year, Danny Ings to get the opener here at 7/2. Ashley Barnes (6/4) and Michael Kightly (10/3) are better value in the anytime market.

Derby County v Barnsley
Only league leaders Leicester City have scored more home goals than Steve McClaren’s Rams. They are odds-on 8/13 favourites for three points against the Tykes, who sit second bottom and have recorded just four wins all season.

Hosts Derby have netted 11 times in their last three homes matches, managing at least three in each. They are 2/1 to get over 2.5 goals in this latest game at Pride Park.

Christ Martin is County’s top scorer, and bagged a brace in the reverse fixture. He also has three in three, and four in six career appearances against Barnsley. Back him for two goals or more again at 4/1.

Brighton v Blackpool
The Seagulls hit the Seasiders for six in this fixture last April, and also edged them out at Bloomfield Road earlier this season. Oscar Garcia’s side are thus odds-on at 8/15 for yet another victory.

Only Doncaster Rovers have won fewer away games than Blackpool, who dropped into the bottom three on goal difference over the Easter weekend. Brighton, meanwhile, have the second tightest defence in this division behind Burnley. They are 27/20 shots to win to nil here.

If it’s a goal-scorer you’re looking for, then Argentine striker Leonardo Ulloa has netted more than half of his 13 league goals against teams in the current Championship bottom nine. He is 3/1 to be on target first.
