United odds against to qualify for Champions League next season
Manchester United are 11-8 with leading bookmaker Coral to qualify for Champions League football next season following the sacking of David Moyes, while the 20-time league winners are as big as 8-1 to win the Premier League trophy during the 2014/15 campaign.
Coral have betting available on when the Reds will next win the league title, with 2015/16 also priced up at 8-1.
Luis Van Gaal remains the favourite to replace David Moyes at Old Trafford and is now into 6-4 (from 5-1) to get the job. United are likely to spend big in the summer and are 7-1 to secure the services of Cesc Fabregas from Barcelona, while they are 20-1 to lure Cristiano Ronaldo back to the club.
“The betting suggests there could be a long way back for United to return to their glory days. They are odds against to get back into the Champions League ahead of the 2015/16 season and their odds on winning the title are much bigger than they have been in recent years,” said Coral’s John Hill.
