Rooney 5-2 with Coral to fire blank in Brazil

CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Coral is offering 5-2 that Wayne Rooney continues his drought at the World Cup and fails to score at the tournament. The leading bookmaker goes 7-4 that he finds the back of the net just once, 3-1 for exactly two goals, while three or more is available at 9-2.

Rooney has eased into 1-8 (from 1-20) to start the opening game against Italy but he can also be backed to be left out of the starting XI for that tie at 9-2.

There are a range of specials available with Coral on Rooney including the 7-2 they are quoting for him to score from outside the box in any World Cup game and the 8-1 they offer on Rooney being sent off in any World Cup game.

“All the talk at the moment is about Wayne Rooney and if he is going to deliver. His odds on starting against Italy have drifted slightly, while the betting suggests he may have to settle for just the one goal at the tournament as that is the favourite in our total goals market,” said Coral’s John Hill.
