USA 1-5 to qualify despite last minute equaliser
USA are 1-5 with Coral to qualify for the last 16 of the World Cup despite conceding an equaliser in the final few seconds against Portugal last night. The result keeps the European side in contention for a spot in the next round but they are still big outsiders at 8-1 to do so.
In the final game of the group, the draw between Germany and USA is as short as 8-5 as that result would be enough to send both sides into the knockout stages.
“We’ve had to go shorter than usual on the draw between Germany and the USA in the final game just in case the two sides settle for the point,” said Coral’s John Hill.
