Gamble emerges on Woods on familiar course

CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Tiger Woods has been well backed with Coral ahead of the WGC-Bridgestone Invitational this week in which he now available at 12-1 (from 16-1) with the firm. The eight-time winner, and defending champion, is the joint-second favourite to win the event once again, with Roy McIlroy heading the outright market at 11-2.

Elsewhere, Adam Scot has also been popular but is still available at a top price of 12-1, while Rickie Fowler has been supported at 25-1.

“Tiger’s record in this event is unbelievable and it looks like punters are remaining loyal as we have seen a number of five-figure bets on the former world number one. Each-way backers have been keen to get involved with Rickie Fowler, while Adam Scott would also been a very bad result for us this week,” said Coral’s John Hill.
