Hottest day of the year to come despite wet weather

| 11.07.2014
CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

The firm go odds-on at 4-5 that temperatures break the current record high of 27.7C, while it’s 10-1 that the mercury rises to a scorching 30C.

Festival revellers at T In The Park can also expect sunshine for the next three days, with Coral offering odds of 7-1 that it rains every day, and 8-1 that there’s a power cut.

“Keep the umbrellas up as they will be needed on the beach next week. The odds suggest that the recent glum weather is just a blip in what’s expected to be one of the hottest British summers on record,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.
