Blues head betting to dethrone champions

CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Chelsea look set to start the new Premier League season as the favourites with Coral to lift the trophy in which they are currently available at 7-4 with the firm. Last year’s winners Manchester City are a top price of 12-5, while Manchester United and Arsenal sit behind them at 5-1 and 6-1, respectively.

In the Championship, Cardiff head the betting at 15-2 to win the league and make a swift return to the Premier League. Sheffield United are warm favourites at 5-1 to win League One, while Bury have been well backed to win League Two and are now into 13-2.

“We are happy to take on the defending champions this year as we think it is always tough to win back-to-back titles. Chelsea have signed well so they look favourites in our eyes,” said Coral’s John Hill.

“In League One, Sheffield United have been very popular to win their league while money has been generally spread between Bury and Portsmouth in League Two,” added Hill.
