Chelsea, Tottenham and Everton a fantastic 5/1 all to win

| 13.09.2014

Back three of last season’s Premier League top six to slay their less-fancied opponents this weekend with Coral, and enjoy a 5/1 return on your money.

Champions elect Chelsea host Swansea City, Mauricio Pochettino’s Tottenham travel to the north-east to face last season’s escape artists Sunderland and Everton make the trip to perennial strugglers West Bromwich Albion.

Chelsea v Swansea
Chelsea have started the season in electric fashion, sporting a 100 per cent record and netting 11 goals in three games in the process. It’s no surprise Jose Mourinho’s troops are odds-on at 2/7 for victory at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

Swansea have failed to beat the Blues in their last four attempts and failed to get on the scoresheet in any of those encounters. Chelsea have a red-hot Diego Costa leading their line and the Spain international is giving a return on his £32m price tag.

Costa has four goals in his first three appearances for the west London outfit. It took fellow La Roja frontman Fernando Torres 39 games to reach that figure in a Blues shirt.

Sunderland v Tottenham
Tottenham’s underachieving squad have had new life breathed into them since the arrival of Pochettino in the White Hart Lane hot-seat, and have started the season impressively.

Spurs are 11/10 favourites for the win at the Stadium of Light and, with their record, it’s easy to see why. The white half of north London have won six of their last eight Premier League encounters with Sunderland, drawing the other two.

Last time out, Tottenham crushed the Mackems 5-1 back in April. Both Emmanuel Adebayor and Harry Kane netted in that comprehensive victory, and the former is favourite to open the scoring at 6/1.

West Brom v Everton
Roberto Martinez’s men are 11/10 favourites to dispatch West Brom after rattling in seven goals in their first three games of the season.

Alan Irvine – former head of Everton’s academy and now Baggies head coach – has conversely witnessed his side score just two occasions and have failed to net in their last two outings.

Toffees forward Steven Naismith is enjoying a purple patch, after scoring in all of his three appearances this season, and is 15/8 to score anytime again. Former loanee Romelu Lukaku is slated as 6/1 favourite to net the opener and get off the market.
