Germany, Portugal, Greece and Finland in awesome 3/1 acca

| 06.09.2014

It doesn’t seem like five minutes since the World Cup final, but international football’s next phase is about to get underway.

As the qualifiers for Euro 2016 start, Coral can offer punters attractive odds of 3/1 on an accumulator that contains Germany, Portugal, Greece and Finland all winning.

Die Mannschaft, the reigning world champions, host Scotland, while Paulo Bento’s boys entertain Albania, the Greeks are at home to Romania and Finland away to the Faroe Islands.

Here’s why this is such a sumptuous special bet that you have to back.

Germany v Scotland
Since reunification, the Germans have lost just once to the Scots, so that is why Joachim Low’s lads are strong odds-on 1/6 favourites to start their qualification quest from Group D with victory.

World Cup winner Jerome Boateng is back fit and will bolster Die Mannschaft’s defence. Scotland boss Gordon Strachan, by contrast, looks very short on the left-hand side of his back four following the withdrawals of Christophe Berra and Andrew Robertson.

German forwards Mario Gomez and Marco Reus will look exploit this weakness in the visitors. Both are odds-on at 10/11 to score anytime in this encounter.

Portugal v Albania
The Navigators have never lost a match against Albania, and that easily explains why the Iberian outfit are odds-on 2/7 favourites to get a win their Group I opener.

Uncapped teenage Portugal attackers Bruma (Galatasaray) and Ricardo Horta (Malaga) will both be keen to impress national boss Bento here. The former is evens, while the latter is 5/4 in the anytime scorer market for this match.

Greece v Romania
Claudio Ranieri’s first game in charge of the Euro 2004 winners is against the side Greece beat in a two-legged play-off to reach the recent World Cup. The Pirate Ship thus have the beating of Romania, and are evens to do so again here.

Kostas Mitroglou has three international goals from those two recent encounters between Greece and the Eastern European outfit. Back him at 5/4 to net anytime.

Faroe Islands v Finland
These two nations on the fringes of Nordic culture have met twice before. Finland won both encounters to nil. They are odds-on to do so again at 4/5, and even shorter just for a victory whatever the scoreline at 2/9.
