Gunners worth a shot at 7/4 to beat City

| 12.09.2014
CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Arsenal have an excellent home record and look good value at 7/4 with Coral to further enhance it with a victory over Manchester City in Saturday’s big televised Premier League game (12.45pm KO, Live on BT Sport1).

Arsene Wenger’s side are unbeaten in 19 Premier League games at the Emirates, winning 14 and drawing five, and have won their last four in a row.

City have also only won one of 17 previous games away at Arsenal, and were comprehensively thrashed 3-0 by the Gunners in this year’s Community Shield.

The Citizens also come into this contest on the back of a 1-0 defeat at home to Stoke, and Arsenal will not be lacking in confidence going into this encounter.

Although they are yet to hit top form this season, the home side are unbeaten in the league (Won 1, drawn 2) and this game is likely to see new £16 million signing Danny Welbeck make his debut up front alongside Alexis Sanchez who has scored in his last two games.

Both players can be backed at 15/8 with Coral in the anytime scorer market and, in his current form Sanchez looks worth siding with from a punting perspective.

A solid bet looks to be both teams to score at 4/7 given City’s attacking prowess, whilst in the correct score market I like the look of a 2-1 win for Arsenal at a tasty 9/1.

The reason for the latter is that City have only scored more than once in 17 Premier League games against Arsenal at either Highbury or the Emirates.

Best Bets:
Arsenal to win – 7/4
Both teams to score – 4/7
Sanchez anytime scorer – 15/8
Arsenal to win 2-1 – 9/1
