Last season’s top six in action as Coral previews the best punts

| 18.10.2014

Following the international break, Coral welcome back domestic action, with the best of the rest for the Saturday 3pm kick-offs, featuring three of last season’s top six sides.

Arsenal v Hull
It is a repeat of last term’s FA Cup final, as Steve Bruce’s boys return to London, with not much difference in the stadium. This time not at Wembley, but Arsenal’s own version, their arena the Emirates, and Bruce will be hoping to push the Gunners as close as his side did in May, when they surged into a 2-0 lead, before losing 3-2.

Odds-on at 2/5 for victory, Arsenal lost to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last time out and will be keen to put that right. Danny Welbeck seems to have discovered his scoring touch, and is 4/1 to net first, having struck four times in all competitions so far this campaign, while Theo Walcott could be in line for a return, and is 5/1 in the same market.

Hull meanwhile, are 7/1 for victory, and new signing Abel Hernandez will be hoping he can continue his fine form since joining the Humberside outfit. He has two to his name already, and is 11/4 in the anytime market.

Crystal Palace v Chelsea
Neil Warnock faces his first real test as Eagles manager, who will be looking to pinch all three points from Chelsea at Selhurst Park. The Blues’ main threat is striker Diego Costa, 10/3 to open the scoring, having already hit nine goals in the Premier League this season, firing the west London side to the top of the table.

Odds-on at 4/9 for the win, Jose Mourinho’s men are overwhelmingly short, while Palace are long at 7/1 even by their standards, after managing to scalp Everton away from home already this season. Striker Dwight Gayle is the home side’s top scorer with five goals in all competitions, and is great value at 11/4 to net anytime.

Everton v Aston Villa
This is sure to be an intriguing encounter, from both sides that have shown all the promise of securing, certainly a top 10 finish. Despite a fine start to the campaign from Villa, the Toffees are odds-on at 6/10 for the win, while Paul Lambert’s men are 5/1.

Roberto Martinez’s side are in desperate need of three points and sit perilously close to the relegation zone, one place above it. Top scorer Steven Naismith is 6/4 to net anytime for Everton, while Villa’s main man Christian Benteke could grab his first of the campaign since returning from injury, and is 8/1 to open the scoring.

Ross Barkley is back in training for the home side, but doubtful to start after a lengthy lay-off, while Martinez could welcome Seamus Coleman, Steven Pienaar and James McCarthy.
