Mcilroy heads Sports Personality of the Year betting

| 09.12.2014

Rory McIlroy goes into Sunday’s Sports Personality of the Year award as the 4-9 favourite with bookmaker Coral. The two-time major winner in 2014 sits at the top of the betting ahead of Formula One Drivers champion Lewis Hamilton who is available at 13-8.

“Although Rory is a short odds-on favourite to win the award on Sunday, support behind Lewis Hamilton in the betting has been growing ever since he captured his second Drivers’ Championship in Abu Dhabi,” said Coral’s John Hill.
