Aston Villa v Manchester United – Away win
The Red Devils have won six games on the bounce and take this bullish form to Villa Park. United have defeated their hosts 82 times in the league, compared to the Villans’ 43, and did the double over Paul Lambert’s boys last term, putting seven past them overall.

Hull City v Swansea City – Away win
Steve Bruce’s boys have won just one of their last 15 games across all competitions this campaign, whilst the Swans boast a record of 27 league triumphs over the Tigers. Garry Monk’s men have taken points from plenty of tough duels this term, including against Arsenal, Everton and Man Utd.

QPR v West Bromwich Albion – Home win
The Hoops have taken 10 points in their past four home games, and will welcome top scorer Charlie Austin back into the fold for the Baggies’ visit. The Loftus Road hosts also defeated West Brom the last time these two teams tussled, securing a 1-0 triumph.

Southampton v Everton – Away win
The Saints have failed to win any of their past six games and are in somewhat of a slump, whilst Everton enter this encounter on the back of a morale-boosting victory. The Toffees have only been defeated in one of their past nine battles with Southampton.

West Ham United v Leicester City – Home win
The Hammers have crashed the top four, winning nine of their last 10 outings and scoring six in their last three. The Foxes, meanwhile, continue to struggle. Leicester have not tasted victory for 11 games and have not beaten West Ham in their last six attempts.

Cardiff v Brentford – Home win
Russell Slade is unbeaten at home as Bluebirds boss and, because the Bees lost on the road last time out, the hosts look like great shouts for victory.
Fulham v Sheffield Wednesday – Draw
As these two teams are next to one another in the table, a share of the spoils is the most likely outcome.
Ipswich v Middlesbrough – Home win
Boro may be in the automatic promotion places slightly ahead of their hosts, but the trip to Suffolk has been a miserable one for them in recent years. Back Mick McCarthy’s men to end the Teesside team’s run.

Reading v Watford – Draw
Royals fans can expect the customary reaction after their Asian owners appointed a new manager, Steve Clarke. Reading should take something off the Hornets here.
Roma v AC Milan – Home win
As hosts Roma have a 100 per cent record at the Stadio Olimpico in Serie A, Rudi Garcia’s side should maintain that, because Milan last won away in October.

Dundee United v Celtic – Away win
The Hoops are undefeated against United in their last 10 games in all competitions, winning eight, and are currently on a run this season in the Scottish Premiership of eight straight victories.

Newcastle v Sunderland – Draw
Despite the Black Cats winning their last three meetings with northeast rivals Newcastle, they are without a triumph in their last six league games, while the Magpies have six victories in their last nine. The Toon were thrashed 4-0 by Spurs in the Capital One Cup, though, and Sunderland have five draws in their last six matches.

Liverpool v Arsenal – Draw
Neither side are in a great run of form, with Liverpool in particular still picking up the pieces after their demoralising 3-0 loss to Manchester United. They gained a morale-boosting win over Bournemouth in the League Cup, though, so back a draw here.

Inter Milan v Lazio – Away win
Italian giants Inter are way down in 11th in Serie A, after winning just five of their first 15 games, while the Rome outfit are up in third and six points ahead.

Stoke v Chelsea – Draw
The Potters won this fixture at the Britannia last term, and have gained victories over top teams already this season, against Manchester City, Tottenham and Arsenal, despite their relatively low standing of 12th. Chelsea are slowing down slightly after their super start.

Premier League Tips
Hertha to beat Hoffenheim
Schalke to beat Dortmund
Dusseldorf to win at Paderborn
