FA Cup third-favourites Man Utd (11/2) have dominated the transfer talk this January, and are being linked with Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel, who has stated he wants to move to the Premier League. The Zenit St Petersburg star is like-for-like in terms of position, style, nationality and afro as Marouane Fellaini, so what does the future hold for the latter if Witsel is signed?

But one player that seemingly won’t be on his his way to Old Trafford this winter is PSG’s wonderkid defender Marquinhos, with the French club saying they they want £112m for the Brazilian.

However, the French giants could be willing to part with is Uruguay star Edinson Cavani, but only if the Red Devils sign Radamel Falcao on a permanent deal from Monaco and do a swap deal…

Another player who could be on his way to Spain is James Milner, who is still yet to agree a new contract with 9/2 Premier League second-favourites Manchester City. Clubs in Italy, as well as the English top flight, are also reportedly interested in the tenacious Yorkshireman.

Two plays that look set to leave in the coming days, if not sooner, are Everton’s Samuel Eto’o, who is set to sign for Sampdoria, and Kyle Naughton to Swansea City from Tottenham. The latter looks set to miss out on facing his old side Sheffield United in the Capital One Cup if talks are ongoing.

High-flyers Southampton, meanwhile, are interested in signing Manchester City striker John Guidetti, who played under Ronald Koeman at Feyenoord and is unwilling to join on loan club Celtic permanently.
