Swansea, Bournemouth, Middlesbrough in 4/1 FA Cup treble
Celebrate the New Year with a bang by backing this terrific trio in another fantastic FA Cup special from Coral.
Benefit from excellently enhanced odds on Swansea City, Bournemouth and Middlesbrough all to win their upcoming cup clashes at a fabulous 4/1.
Here are even more reasons why you should reap the rewards from this tantalising treble.
Tranmere v Swansea
Tranmere have not beaten the Swans since February 2004, in the two sides’ previous and only FA Cup meeting, when the Rovers ran out 2-1 winners.
However, the Welsh outfit (odds-on 4/11 favourites) have won four of the last seven clashes in all competitions since that defeat, and the Premier League side sit ninth in England’s top-flight domestic table.
The home side have won only once in their last three League Two outings, and struggle down in 22nd in the table, after going an incredible 13 games without a victory earlier in the campaign.
Micky Adams’ men have won on just five occasions in the league since dropping into the fourth tier at the end of the 2013/14 season, leaving them just above League Two’s relegation zone.
Swansea head into the match in decent form, having won three of their last six league outings. Playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson has struck two in his last three appearances, and the Iceland international midfielder is 7/4 to net at anytime in the upcoming cup clash.
Rotherham v Bournemouth
Brilliant Bournemouth (even-money to win) are in sensational form at the moment and cruising at the top of the Championship, having won their last five domestic league games.
Eddie Howe’s men have not been beaten in a Championship game in their last 14 outings, winning 11 of those fixtures and drawing the other three.
Rotherham face a daunting prospect of trying to upset the in-form Cherries, with the home side struggling badly down in 19th place in the second tier. The Millers have won just once in their last 12 domestic league games, and have not defeated their cup opponents since January 2009.
Callum Wilson is the away team’s man in form, striking 13 times in all competitions this season, and Bournemouth’s clinical centre forward is 4/1 to open the scoring at the New York Stadium.
Barnsley v Middlesbrough
Promotion hopefuls Middlesbrough have won three of their last five domestic league outings on their way to fourth spot in the Championship table.
Boro, odds-on at 5/6 to win, will be highly confident of a cup progression as they face a Barnsley side who are struggling down at the bottom of League One in 16th.
Barnsley have picked up three points only once in their previous six league games, and were toppled by their cup opponents last season in a 3-1 Championship defeat, before being eventually relegated from the division.
Striker Patrick Bamford, on-loan from Chelsea, will be included in the away side’s squad after extending his stay at the Riverside Stadium. The in-form frontman is 6/5 to bag a goal at anytime in the third round cup tie.
