Coral are offering another midweek special treble, with enhanced odds of 13/2 for all of Real Madrid and Porto in the Champions League, plus Championship outfit Middlesbrough to win their respective matches on Wednesday evening.

Jose Mourinho has a tie in with all three of these clubs, despite his Chelsea team not featuring in this bet, as his former sides Los Blancos and the Dragons face respective first leg away battles to Schalke and Basel. While current Boro boss Aitor Karanka was Mourinho’s assistant at Real, and he leads his Championship high-fliers on the road to Birmingham City.

Schalke v Real Madrid
This duo faced off at this last 16 stage last season, and it is fair to say that Real battered their German opponents, as they hit them for six in Gelsenkirchen and ran out 9-2 aggregate winners over two legs. Los Blancos are 4/9 favourites for victory in Germany, and more tempting 13/10 chances to net three times or more.

Cristiano Ronaldo got four goals from those two matches last season, and he is 5/2 to bag a brace or better again. Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema, meanwhile, also scored twice in this fixture last term, and are 5/4 and 6/5 in the anytime market.

Basel v Porto
Whilst this duo have never met before in competitive football action, Porto have been boosted by the fact that Basel’s best defender Fabian Schar is suspended for this crunch clash. That should mean that ageing centre back Walter Samuel will have to deal with Porto’s prolific poacher Jackson Martinez.

As a result, the Portuguese outfit 11/8 favourites for victory, while the Colombian hitman is 5/4 to net anytime and 7/1 to score two or more.

Birmingham v Middlesbrough
Boro have won both of their last battles with Birmingham, including this season in the Championship 2-0. They are 11/10 favourites for victory once more and 17/2 to do so by that scoreline.

Karanka’s men are up in second, with a game in hand, and can regain top spot from Bournemouth here. Back club top scorers Patrick Bamford and Grant Leadbitter at 9/5 and 9/4 respectively to net anytime.
