Arsenal to build on Premier League top four hopes against West Ham

CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

The Gunners are odds-on at 2/5 with Coral to beat West Ham, as they turn their attentions to consolidating a place in the Premier League top four after a magnificent victory at Old Trafford against Manchester United in the FA Cup quarter-finals.

Danny Welbeck scored the decisive goal against his former club, and can be confident of performing well against the Hammers, being priced 7/4 to net anytime.

Centre forward Olivier Giroud could be back in contention for a start after coming on as a second half substitute against United, and the Frenchman is 7/2 to break the deadlock, following his 10-goal haul in 17 Premier League games this term.

Alexis Sanchez will be looking to get back to scoring form, and has admitted that he is slowly starting to adapt to the Premier League.

“I am well adapted to the country and the league,” said the Chilean who is 4/1 to open the scoring. “I must keep on learning, though. I want to expand my knowledge of English football in general and Arsenal and my team-mates in particular, but overall I love this league. At the end of the day, football was invented in this country, right? I live where football was invented. That makes me really happy.

“Ever since I started watching Premier League I found English football very appealing. I hope to keep on learning from my team-mates and keep on improving day after day. That’s what I am here for,” he continued.

“Here in the Premier League you can get beaten 3-0 by a team laying at the bottom of the table. It is not an unusual thing in English football. That is why any prediction ahead of the game may be very deceptive.”

Sam Allardyce’s side, meanwhile have slumped in form slightly since Christmas, dropping to 10th in the table and haven’t won in the Premier League since the 3-0 defeat of Hull City in January.

The last time they scored was in the 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, when Enner Valencia notched and the Ecuadorian is 10/3 to net anytime against the Gunners who they haven’t beaten in 14 attempts.
