PSV Eindhoven’s electric attacking quartet to fluster Feyenoord

| 21.03.2015

PSV Eindhoven will be hoping to edge closer to the Eredivisie title by triumphing against foes Feyenoord in their clash at the De Kuip, and are 7/4 with Coral to do so.

Having faltered lately with defeats to Zenit St Petersburg and Ajax, the Eindhoven outfit have bounced back with two league wins on the trot.

PSV’s scintillating early season form saw the club storm to top of the Dutch table, and their success is due in large part to the potency of their fantastic collection of forward threats.

Closest rivals Ajax and Feyenoord have simply been unable to match the potency and efficiency of the Philips Stadion side.

Regular front four Memphis Depay, Luuk de Jong, Georginio Wijnaldum (8/1 to fire home first for the second game in a row) and Luciano Narsingh have racked up an incredible 63 goals and 21 assists between them across all competitions this campaign.

Apparent Manchester United target Depay is an injury concern, but should be fit to face Feyenoord. The rapid wingman is crucial to PSV’s play and, as the Light Bulbs’ leading scorer in the league, is a nifty 9/5 to net anytime.

Having made the difference in the reverse with a dramatic 90th minute winner, Depay is also excellent value at 11/2 to have the final say again.

Former Newcastle United forward De Jong is not far behind his peer in the race to be PSV’s most prolific player, and is 8/1 to bag a brace or better, after hitting a hat-trick against Feyenoord earlier this term.

With flying full back Jetro Willems providing assists from the left flank in spades, Phillip Cocu’s side are 15/4 to score three or more.

Despite PSV’s recent thrilling 4-3 victory against Rotterdam giants Feyenoord, the Light Bulbs have had little luck against their rivals recently, with just one win from their last four duels.

Fred Rutten’s men, then, are favourites at 7/5 to take all three points on home turf, or 5/2 to split the spoils, with just one loss from their last 14 in all competitions at De Kuip.

In Rotterdam’s ranks, British football fans may remember the familiar faces of former Blackburn Rovers and Sheffield United sharpshooter Colin Kazim-Richards, and versatile ex-Chelsea defender Khalid Bhoularouz.

Kazim-Richards has been a revelation up front for Feyenoord, where he seems to have finally found his feet. After hitting 10 strikes, the Bursaspor-owned hitman is 11/2 to fire home last, while strike partner Elvis Manu, who opened the floodgates against PSV last time, is 13/2 to do so again.
