Back Sevilla to beat Villarreal for a fourth time this season

| 22.03.2015

Villarreal and Sevilla are next to each other in La Liga at present, with the latter being three points ahead of the former by three points in fifth place.

Therefore, the Yellow Submarine could draw level with the Bathtubs and potentially leapfrog them with victory (11/10 favourites with Coral) in this Spanish top-flight fixture.

However, Sevilla have already beaten Villarreal three times this term already, including most recently in the Europa League last 16 both home and away. They are tempting 12/5 chances to triumph once more in their attempt to keep up the pace on the top four – they are four points behind.

Unai Emery can call upon a whole host of players that have netted against the Yellow Submarine already this term, including classy Colombian forward Carlos Bacca and Kevin Gameiro. The duo are 6/4 and 7/4 chances respectively to score again anytime.

Gerard Deulofeu is another that can cause trouble here, and the former Everton loanee is 4/1 in the same market, and ex-Arsenal attacker Jose Antonio Reyes is 5/1.

For the hosts, meanwhile, former Tottenham and Barcelona forward Giovani Dos Santos, as well as Luciano Vietto have been on target this season against Sevilla, and can be backed at 7/4 and 5/4 respectively.

Another player to look out for is on-loan Gunners and Costa Rica star Joel Campbell, who is 10/3 in the anytime market, while Mexican Dos Santos’ brother, Jonathan, is priced at 5/1.

Both teams come into this game in mixed form in the league, though, with Sevilla winning four of their last eight, and Villarreal claiming five victories in their past nine.

Andalusian outfit Sevilla have triumphed in their past two, against Elche and Deportivo, and can be backed at an enticing 11/1 for a 2-1 scoreline in their favour once more, as was the result in two of their fixtures against their upcoming opponents this term.

A draw, meanwhile, which last occurred in Seville last season, is priced at 12/5.
