Shutthefrontdoor shortens again at head of Grand National betting

| 31.03.2015

Shutthefrontdoor, likely to be AP McCoy’s final ride in the Grand National, continues to shorten for the Aintree showpiece, and is now the 7-1 (from 8-1) favourite for the Crabbie’s-sponsored race with Coral.

“AP McCoy may think his National mount is too short a price, but it is the weight of money we are seeing for Shutthefrontdoor that is forcing the odds down, and if the pair team up for Aintree glory, the bookies will be left counting the cost, and not as AP suggests, come out of it the only winners,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
