Serie A top two Juventus and Lazio clash in Turin

CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Second-placed Lazio come into this game with double reason to beat Serie A leaders Juventus, as they can close the gap to nine points on the Turin titans and will want to avoid being overtaken by bitter rivals Roma, who host Atalanta.

The capital club (10/3 to triumph) are by far the in-form team in Italy’s top-flight, having won each of their last eight matches, but will need to be wary of Juve (5/6 odds-on favourites), who were embarrassed by troubled basement side Parma last time out.

Juventus were without key players such as greats Gianluigi Buffon, Andrea Pirlo and want-away forward Carlos Tevez for that 1-0 loss, but the trio will be raring to go to all-but claim the title with seven games to go.

Former Manchester United and City star Tevez has reportedly asked to rejoin his boyhood club Boca Juniors at the end of the season, but is Serie A’s top scorer with 17 this term. The Argentine was on target in the away fixture against Lazio, and is odds-on at 4/5 to net anytime again or 7/2 for two or more.

Paul Pogba bagged a brace in that match, but is out injured for a couple months. However, the hosts will have enough firepower in Spain forwards Alvaro Morata and big Basque Fernando Llorente. They are both 6/4 in the anytime market.

For the Eagles, meanwhile, mid-30s attackers Miroslav Klose and Stefano Mauri have been the standout stars, having netted a combined 19 goals in the Italian top flight, so are 15/8 and 11/4 respective chances to score anytime.

Santiago Gentiletti, Filip Djordjevic, Stefan de Vrij, Stefan Radu, Marco Parolo and Abdoulay Konko are all set to miss the game, though.

Although the Old Lady have lost just one of their last 15 matches in all competitions against Lazio, they have drawn two of their previous four at home with them. A share of the spoils, therefore, is a tempting 5/2 chance.
