International Champions Cup: Barcelona play Man Utd while Chelsea face PSG

| 25.07.2015

The International Champions Cup takes centre stage once again with two terrific fixtures, which can easily be deemed glitz and glamour ties and could quite possibly turn out to be the two semi-finals of the Champions League next season. Coral take a look at all the action with the best bets for both games.

Barcelona v Manchester United
Someone should have told Barca they were entitled to a summer break. Based on the evidence so far in pre-season you would think they had carried on training and playing from the Champions League final.

Luis Enrique’s side are 11/10 with Coral to beat the Red Devils who have strengthened considerably so far this summer. Luis Suarez has been in sensational form as Barca beat LA Galaxy, weaving through the penalty box to rifle home from close range, while Sergi Roberto thundered into the roof of the net. Both are 5/4 and 11/2 respectively to score in the anytime market.

Two of United’s new signings, meanwhile, have already got off the mark. Morgan Schneiderlin and Memphis Depay don’t need to worry about fitting into the team or figuring out where the goal is and are 6/1 and 15/8 respectively to notch once more. Wayne Rooney, meanwhile will be keen to reinforce the fact that he is still capable of being the club’s number one striker, with odds of 6/4 in the same market.

PSG v Chelsea
Jose Mourinho will be expecting his players to pick up their game considerably after the Blues lost 4-2 to a second string New York Red Bulls outfit. Despite this result, they are still odds-on at 10/11 to win and it will be interesting to see how they line up.

With Radamel Falcao and Diego Costa available, Mourinho is spoiled for choice in attack, though it is likely he will only play one at a time. They are both evens anytime, however Loic Remy notched against the Red Bulls and is 5/4 in the same market, while Eden Hazard who also struck is 6/1 to break the deadlock.

PSG, meanwhile, have a plethora of quality options available including Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani, who are 5/1 and 6/1 respectively to open the scoring. Youngster Jean Cristophe Bahebeck, who has been linked to Southampton, may also be given a chance and is 7/4 in the anytime market.
