Adele’s new album 6/4 to outsell 21

| 20.10.2015
CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Adele’s much-anticipated third album is due out next month and bookmaker Coral go 6-4 that it outsells her second album 21, which became the bestselling UK album of the millennium. The festive gambles are starting to pick up pace, and the firm go even money that the album tops the Christmas charts.

Coral is also quoting odds of 25-1 that the new album breaks the record for most weeks at number one and 12-1 that it becomes the fastest selling album of all time.

“Adele’s last album sold an astonishing 4.7 million copies which will be hard to beat, but after four long years of waiting, her new album has every chance of breaking that record,” said Coral’s Nicola McGeady.

“The album is reportedly coming out later in November and after 21 dominated the UK charts in 2011, the odds suggest that her new material will go straight to number one and hang onto the top spot until Christmas,” added McGeady.
