CORAL ENHANCED ACCAS

Matt Haynes | October 26, 2015

As the Capital One Cup returns to our screens this week, Coral have an ample array of midweek specials to mark the occasion.

As a result, we feature Manchester City, Manchester United, Southampton and Liverpool at a thrilling 3/1 all to win their respective home games against, on paper, weaker opposition in 90 minutes.

Manchester City v Crystal Palace

Britain Soccer Champions League
Manuel Pellegrini’s side have are unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions, having won four times and are overwhelmingly odds-on at 4/11 to beat the Eagles.

Their last home game against Premier League opposition was a 5-1 thrashing of Bournemouth, with Raheem Sterling hitting a hat-trick, while Wilfried Bony bagged a brace. The duo are both 4/1 to break the deadlock, while the irrepressible Kevin De Bruyne is 7/1 to score two or more.

Manchester United v Middlesbrough

Britain Soccer Premier League
The Red Devils are also heavy 4/11 odds-on favourites to beat Boro and the Red Devils have won their last three matches against the Teesside outfit.

United have the beating of the Championship side, with the likes of Anthony Martial, Memphis Depay and Wayne Rooney all capable of finding the net and Louis van Gaal will have targeted this competition as one that his side can win.

Southampton v Aston Villa

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Southampton v Norwich City - St Marys
Heavily odds-on at 4/9 to beat their West Midlands opponents, the Saints will also be boosted by the memory of a very recent 6-1 victory against them in May.

Graziano Pelle bagged a brace on that occasion and the Italian is 7/2 to break the deadlock this time at St Mary’s or 4/1 to score two or more.

Meanwhile, new centre back signing Virgil van Dijk has proved an imposing aerial presence since he joined, also scoring twice, so odds of 6/1 in the anytime market, represent good value against a susceptible Villa backline.

Liverpool v Bournemouth

Soccer - Christian Benteke
New Reds boss Jurgen Klopp will have identified this match as an ideal opportunity to get his first win while in charge of the club and are odds-on favourites at 1/2 for the win. Christian Benteke returned to scoring form last time out and will be keen to carry on his momentum at 10/3 to break the deadlock.

Bournemouth slumped to a 5-1 win at home to Spurs last time out and are severely weakened by injuries to key players, so the this should be academic for Liverpool.
