As the Premier League returns following international duty, Coral have identified five players that fans may want to watch closely over the weekend, with a number of talking points in store.

Ross Barkley

Irrepressible while on international duty with England, managing to get on the scoresheet against Lithuania, his biggest test will come as Everton host Manchester United.

The attacking midfielder is also enjoying an excellent season with the Toffees and is well worth a bet at 7/2 with Coral to score in the anytime market.

Wilfried Bony

With Sergio Aguero injured for Manchester City, Manuel Pellegrini will likely hand a start to Ivory Coast striker Bony, who boasts odds of 3/1 to dispatch two or more against newly-promoted Bournemouth.

This is a great opportunity for the ex-Swansea striker to make it hard for the Argentine to be automatically selected by Pellegrini when he returns from injury and if Bony gets the service, he could run riot against the Cherries.

Odion Ighalo

It is four goals from four games for the Watford hotshot and Arsenal will have to be aware of his threat. The Nigerian is well worth considering at 2/1 to dispatch anytime and his manager Quique Flores has issued a hands-off warning to clubs who might be contemplating a bid in the January transfer window.

“I’m not scared about losing him,” Flores said recently.

“Odion had the chance to go out in the summer, but he decided to stay here and that was an amazing decision.

“When a player does well, it is normal that his value changes, but now we think of Ighalo as one of our most important players because he is very happy and he can play in different positions.

“I’m not scared about losing Ighalo, no way. I’m very happy with him and I’m not even thinking about what might happen in the winter market.”

Willian

The Brazilian attacker is one of the only positives to come from Chelsea’s season so far and the 26-year-old has scored in his last three Premier League matches. Odds of 11/4 say he will dispatch anytime against Aston Villa, which could be a wily investment for punters to more than double their money.

Daniel Sturridge

New Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp will have spent time with Sturridge since arriving at Anfield, to see how he can improve his game for Liverpool’s trip to Tottenham.

Still regaining fitness after returning from injury, the striker, nevertheless has two goals to his name and is 9/1 to net two or more against Spurs.
