Bony and Giroud a super 7/2 scorer double

Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Arsenal v Everton - Emirates Stadium

The weekend has come around again already and it’s another one of those Super Sundays that looks guaranteed to throw up a few goals. Well, you’ll be happy to know that Coral have a scorer double to make the Premier League action even more super for you.

We have taken two of the league’s most in-form hitmen, in the shape of strikers Olivier Giroud of Arsenal and Manchester City’s Wilfried Bony, thrown them together and come up with an enticing 7/2 price for the duo to both find the net this weekend.

Gunners frontman Giroud is all set to start in the north London derby, the number one attraction in this particular top-flight fairground of a day.

The former Montpellier striker has scored seven times in as many games for club and country, and in recent outings he has notched in huge victories over both Bayern Munich and Everton.

Spurs will have terrible memories of squaring-up to the perfectly coiffured hair of the 28-year-old at the Emirates. Giroud has made two appearances against his club’s arch-rivals on home turf and he has found the net on both occasions.

Bony, much like Giroud, has been given his chance thanks to an injury to Sergio Aguero. The Ivorian has reaped the benefits of playing regular football at the Etihad and has been magnificent in recent weeks.

His performance in the Champions League in midweek was superb and he topped off a great showing with a brilliantly taken goal against Sevilla. That was the former Swansea City man’s second strike in three matches and he looks at home as the fulcrum of the Citizens’ attack.

Facing the Premier League’s basement club Aston Villa will have the bustling 26-year-old rubbing his hands together. The Villans have conceded 20 times already this term and have looked generally shaky at the back.

It’s two goals in three starts against the Midlands club for the City man and he is perfectly suited to giving the wobbly Villa backline a torrid afternoon.
