Coral’s bet of the day

  • Willian has been one of Chelsea’s star performers this season
  • The Brazilian has struck eight times in all competitions for club and country
  • He is now regarded as one of best free-kick takers in world football

Willian 15/8 to score anytime against Bournemouth

Jose Mourinho’s Premier League champions Chelsea have endured a stuttering campaign so far, but the outstanding form of Brazilian attacker Willian has been a positive and he is 15/8 to score anytime against Bournemouth as Coral’s bet of the day.

Britain Soccer Champions League

The Blues began the defence of their top-flight crown underwhelmingly, with seven domestic defeats so far, but a mini revival has seen them climb to 14th position, and it’s their Samba star Willian enjoying success in front of goal.

In-form Willian struck during a recent 4-0 Champions League rout against Maccabi Tel Aviv, a goal which took his impressive season tally to eight to date for club and country, and he will undoubtedly be his side’s key threat at Stamford Bridge during the weekend’s Premier League action.

Free-kick threat

The 27-year-old has recently become one of the most clinical set-piece takers in world football, having fired in six free-kicks during this season’s Premier League and Champions League for domestic champions Chelsea.

Israel Champions League Soccer

Such a deadly ability will have Eddie Howe’s Cherries worried ahead of their first ever top-flight match-up, with the visitors having haplessly conceded the joint-most goals so far this term, alongside fellow relegation battlers Newcastle United.

With such a stuttering defensive record from their latest opponents, Chelsea’s attackers will be licking their lips at the prospect of facing Bournemouth, especially Brazil international Willian.

The astute South American attacker has already netted against one struggling outfit this term, with a late strike in the dying minutes helping to seal a 2-2 draw at St James’ Park and earn a crucial point.
