Jay McGuiness tops field of five betting for Strictly semi-final

| 07.12.2015

Leading bookmaker Coral make Jay McGuiness the 1-3 favourite to win Strictly Come Dancing ahead of the semi-final next week where the field is down two just five for the series. Georgia May Foote is second best in the betting at 4-1, while Anita Rani can be backed at 14-1.

Helen George was 3-1 with Coral to be eliminated this weekend in a surprise exit as both Katie Derham and Kellie Bright were ahead of her in the next elimination market.

“Jay McGuiness has been the odds-on favourite to win Strictly from very early in this series, however, despite his short odds, it is not putting punters off backing him ahead of the semi-final,” added Hill.

1-3 Jay McGuiness, 4-1 Georgia May Foote, 14-1 Anita Rani, 22-1 Katie Derham, 25-1 Kellie Bright.
