The 2016 Cheltenham Festival continued with a thrilling day three with some top-class horse racing action coming from the World Hurdle and many others. Here’re the best Tweets and videos.

Here at Coral, we were ready for the action! Who did you have your money on?

This was the exciting order of play..

Not only was it day three of the Festival, but it’s also St Patrick’s Day! Many were hoping for the luck of the Irish in their selections..

The course was looking magnificent ahead of the JLT Novices’ Chase..

In the first race of the day, the legendary Ruby Walsh stormed to victory on Black Hercules, incredibly securing his 50th Festival win..

An amazing achievement for an amazing jockey..

Following that, in the Pertemps Network Final, Mall Dini (14/1) emerged with the win, ridden by Davy Russell, who had endured much annoyance in the previous race..

In the awaited Ryanair Chase, Irishman Walsh continued his fine streak, surging to first place on top of Vatour (evens) for a 51st Festival triumph..

Ireland were dominating on St Patrick’s Day and Willie Mullins was closing in on a half-century of Cheltenham Festival wins himself, with that winner taking him to 47..

Coral ambassador Tom Scudamore was the man on the favourite for the World Hurdle, Thistlecrack (odds-on 10/11), see what he said before saddling up..

And it was Scudamore that prevailed, delivering a top class showing on an imperious Thistlecrack..

It’s fair to say Scudamore enjoyed that!

The Brown Advisory Plate took centre stage next as the final televised race, with Johns Spirit (11/2) entering as the favourite but failing to make an impact as Empire of Dirt (16/1) prevailed..

Go on Colin, you may as well..

Mr Walsh capped off a truly remarkable day for himself and trainer Mullins by winning the inaugural Kim Muir Challenge Cup with favourite Limini..

An all-round spectacular day three at Cheltenham Festival! Did you enjoy a profitable day?

Make sure to rejoin us for day four, which of course means the big one, the Cheltenham Gold Cup!
