Irish-trained duo head Coral Scottish Grand National betting

| 30.03.2016

Recent Cheltenham Festival winner Cause Of Causes and the Willie Mullins-trained Measureofmydreams head the sponsor’s betting for next month’s Coral Scottish Grand National at 12-1, after the entries for the £210,000 Ayr showpiece were unveiled today.  The former’s stablemate Bless The Wings is quoted at 14-1, along with Seeyouatmidnight, Southfield Theatre and Vyta Du Roc, while Monday’s Irish Grand National winner Rogue Angel is among the horses priced at 16-1.

“The field for the Coral Scottish Grand National may not take shape until events at Aintree have unfolded, but at this stage the market is headed by the Irish-trained duo Cause Of Causes and Measureofmydreams, with the latter’s trainer Willie Mullins entering six contenders as he seeks the £120,000 first prize that could play a big part in this season’s trainers’ title race,” said Coral’s David Stevens.
