Silviniaco Conti is a real class act and a seven-time Grade 1 winner over fences.

Those victories including back-to-back victories in both King George VI Chase (2013 and 2014) at Kempton and the Betfred Bowl (2014 and 2015) over the Mildmay fences at this track.

Although pulled up in this season’s King George, Silviniaco Conti bounced back in first-time blinkers to win the Grade 1 Ascot Chase by 20 lengths on February 20th.

Silviniaco Conti has proven himself one of the best chasers in training and has an incredible strike rate of just over 50 per cent. He is a slick jumper and has a high cruising speed, and looks the ideal type for the race.
