It was another riveting weekend of sporting highs and lows across the globe, from joyful Leicester City’s crucial step towards the Premier League title, to England’s crushing loss in the World Twenty20 final against the West Indies.

Manchester United’s Anthony Martial can be seen celebrating his winning goal against Everton, which also happened to be the club’s 1000th ever Premier League strike at Old Trafford, with the backdrop the newly named Sir Bobby Charlton Stand. Apt.

While, in the sphere of World Twenty20 cricket, there was a crown in the grand finale up for grabs at the end of an enthralling tournament. Still, despite putting themselves in a position of power, England managed to lose by an agonising four wickets to the West Indies.
