Shearer Says: “It will be close, but I think the Premier League trophy will go to Manchester”

| 16.08.2016

Our very own Simon Clare sat down with Newcastle and England legend, as well as all-time Premier League record goalscorer, Alan Shearer to discuss the season ahead, who will win the title and what colour pants he thinks Gary Lineker will wear on Saturday…

“It will be a fascinating contest between some big name managers and huge football clubs…”

When asked about the prospect of seeing Match of The Day presenter Gary Lineker in just his pants on Saturday, Shearer revealed he isn’t quite looking forward to it as much as most.

“I’m not looking forward to is spending my birthday with a certain Mr. Lineker in his pants…”

There’s been a lot of interest in what colour pants Lineker will actually wear this weekend and funnily enough, we’re taking bets on it, with blue currently the odds-on favourite.

Ever wondered what it takes to be a pundit on MOTD? Shearer reveals all.

“It’s a long day, but it’s great to be involved…”

Do you agree with Alan’s views? Is the Premier League title going to Manchester in May? Will it be City or United? Whatever you think will happen, get yourself over to Coral to back your picks!
