Romford best bits: Dance Muller can waltz to glory in Maidens Final

Dance Muller and Millwards Master among best bets for Romford

Coral’s experts provide their best bets for a 13-race mixed card at Romford screened live on Racing Post Greyhound TV.

Dance Muller can waltz to glory in Maidens Final

There are some decent Open contests on a 13-race mixed card at Romford tonight on Racing Post Greyhound TV (Sky 468, Freesat 250) and T3 Dance Muller rates the standout bet in the Maidens Final at 21:06.

Dance Muller looks the standout bet.

Dance Muller looks the standout bet.

The son of Scolari Me Daddy could not have been more impressive when making a winning debut over course and distance seven days ago for trainer Phil Simmonds.

Dance Muller flashed from the traps and showed bags of early pace to make all and draw steadily clear to score by 5 3/4 lengths.

In doing so he clocked a winning time of 24.09 and that gives him two lengths and upwards in hand on his rivals.

It was a performance which suggested Dance Muller had a big future and a similar break can see him make all to land the spoils en route to better things

Millwards can prove the Master in Stayers Final

T3 Millwards Master ran a blinder when runner-up last time out and can go one better to land the Romford Friday Night 500 Stayers Final (21:24).

Millwards Master is in fine form.

Millwards Master is in fine form.

After being slowly away, Paul Young’s charge through down a persistent late challenge to be gaining at the finish and beaten just 3/4 of a length by the re-opposing T5 Swift Whirlwind who got an absolutely flyer at the traps.

Given how the race panned out, it was a terrific effort and Millwards Master is capable of breaking in much better fashion.

He showed what he is capable of four starts back when pinging from the lids and producing a 13.68 sectional to make all and beat the thriving T6 Illseeyougain by 1 1/2 lengths and, with T2 Roswell Romanov not the quickest in the early stages, Millwards Master has every chance of bossing the inside with a repeat.

If doing so Millwards Master is going to be very hard to contain.

In-form Wizard can work his magic again

T2 Toothill Wizard is in the form of his life at present and can bag another success in the Coral Supports The RGOA Standard (22:26).

Toothill Wizard comes into this race on the back of excellent results.

Toothill Wizard comes into this race on the back of excellent results.

Simmonds’ son of Kinloch Brae has won four of his last six starts at the track and was ultra-impressive in the last of those when quickly away and making all to slam the very useful Evanta Fantasy by three lengths.

A similar break should be more than good enough for Toothill Wizard to grab the rails and get on the bunny and he has a near 30 per cent strike rate when wearing the blue jacket.

Fantasy the answer to finale

In the Coral Home Of The Price Bomb Stayers that brings proceedings to a close (22:40), T5 Boyneviewfantasy can take advantage of a drop in class to hopefully provide trainer Simmonds with a treble on the night.

Boyneviewfantasy could land trainer Simmonds a treble at Romford.

Boyneviewfantasy could land trainer Simmonds a treble at Romford.

The son of Premier Fantasy has won five of his 13 starts at the venue and is three from nine when wearing the orange jacket.

Boyneviewfantasy is a really useful sort when getting loose on the front and has bags of early pace when timing it right at the lids.

This is easier than the race he contested last week when last behind Roswell Romanov after getting badly crowded on more than one occasion, and with four railers on his inside Boyneviewfantasy looks ideally housed to flash out and register a trap-to-line success.

Romford best bets

21:06 T3 Dance Muller (NAP)
21:24 T3 Millwards Master (NB)
22:26 T2 Toot Hill Wizard
22:40 T5 Boyneviewfantasy
