Gerrard 16-1 to be next Liverpool manager

Steven Gerrard is 16-1 with bookmaker Coral to be the next Liverpool manager after he announced his decision to retire this morning, ending a 19-year playing career.

Frank Lampard has yet to make a decision on his future but the Chelsea legend is 5-1 to join Melbourne City as his next club, he is 7-1 to sign for any MLS club and 8-1 to re-sign for Chelsea.

John is the newest member of the PR team having joined in April 2014. In his previous role he worked as a broadcaster where he could be heard building up to the action in horse racing, greyhounds and a range of sports.

John is a proud Rochdale fan having been born in the town which has produced the likes of Gracie Fields and Lisa Stansfield.
