Bet of the day: Crystal Palace win to nil

| 17.01.2017

Tuesday’s bet of the day goes at Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace look to get the job done at the second time of asking when hosting Bolton at Selhurst Park in their FA Cup Third Round replay on Tuesday evening.

We look through the special markets in an attempt to uncover a touch of value. Let’s see what’s on offer to help pad out your betting balance…..

Sam’s boys go as bet of the day on Tuesday

Home comforts for Sam

Crystal Palace are in all kinds of trouble in the Premier League at the minute and suffered their third defeat on the bounce at West Ham, making The Hammers look good, which is no easy feat, that’s for sure. A 3-0 win over Southampton back at the start of December goes as Palace’s last win and, since, they’ve lost five times.

Despite that, big Sam’s troops enjoy home advantage over a lower league side and go as 8/13 favourites to bag their place in the next round courtesy of a win in 90-minutes. No one involved wants the hassle of extra-time and penalties.

Bolton Wanderers v Sheffield Utd - Sky Bet League One - Macron Stadium

Bolton struggling to score on the road

Trotters away form looks ropey

Bolton are chasing down promotion in League One, and it’s not impossible that both sides could be playing each other in the Championship next term. What’s alarming about The Trotters however is that they have struggled away from the Macron Stadium. Phil Parkinson’s side have managed to win just one of their last five road trips, with three defeats and a draw.

Each of those losses have come with a 1-0 full-time score and I think that will play a part again on Tuesday evening. If Bolton are struggling to break down sides in League One, they certainly will stumble against Premier League opposition in their own backyard.

Crystal Palace to win to nil goes as bet of the day on Tuesday, with Coral giving out an attractive 7/4.
