Derby runner-up Cliffs of Moher new Coral-Eclipse favourite

Cliffs Of Moher, is 7-1 (from 10-1) favourite with the sponsor for next month’s Coral-Eclipse, after trainer Aidan O’Brien suggested the Sandown Group One could be the next target for the Investec Derby runner-up.

“If Cliffs Of Moher is aimed at the Coral-Eclipse, he will be bidding to emulate Hawk Wing, who for the same connections went on to win at Sandown having finished second to High Chaparral at Epsom,” said Coral’s David Stevens.

Looking further ahead, Brametot is 8-1 (from 16-1) with Coral for the Qatar Prix De L’Arc De Triomphe, following his second French Classic win of the season in this afternoon’s Prix Du Jockey Club.
